How to preclude common faults of the Speedometer?

The general principle
The digital odometer, which was bonded via a worm on the drive gear, the drum counter speedometer drive shaft, is characterized by a rotary drum on a full circle, a lower drum 1/10 rotation circle. As with the speedometer, odometer now has electronic odometer, it gets a signal from the speed sensor mileage. The electronic odometer mileage accumulated number is stored in the nonvolatile memory, in a state of no power can be saved for. If you are looking for nice digital motorcycle speedometer, go check this page you can definitely gain what you want with satisfaction.
Now, lets talk about the common faults of the speedometer that will happen. Its for sure that higher quality speedometer will also reduce the chance of faults.

The common faults
Speedometer common faults are basically three types:
1. The speedometer pointer does not move.
2. The speedometer needle jitters.
3. The odometer pointer does not move.

When such failures occur, the maintenance carried out as follows.
1.The speedometer pointer does not move.
The main reason for this fault is that the flexible shaft is loose or the flexible shaft is broken. In this case, we should open the instrument for repair.
2.The speedometer needle jitters.
The main reason is the wear of magnet bearing causes the magnet to spin and impact sensor. In this case, it is necessary to replace the bearings.
3.The odometer pointer does not move.
The main reason is that the flexible shaft connection is loose or the flexible shaft connection is broken. If only a few part of the odometer does not turn, it is because the carry - off between counts is broken or the transmission gear is damaged. In this case, new products need to replace the old ones.
