The BMW S 1000 RR Bike Safety: The next generation of Superbike is here

For the first time, BMW Motorrad will contribute to safety in MotoGP providing the new BMW S 1000 RR as Bike Safety. As such, the new Superbike Munich follow in the footsteps of his predecessors, earlier versions of the RR and BMW HP4, who also played this role.

As for the engine, the performance of the new S 1000 RR have improved fruit of a modified cylinder head. The 999 cc engine, four-cylinder, now develops 199 hp. Handling and acceleration benefit through increased torque. As for the systems of electronic support for the pilot, the RR leaves nothing to be desired: it is equipped with modes ride, ABS racing, Dynamic Traction Control DTC and electronic control Damper, the S 1000 RR is available to strengthen its place in the high-end of the Superbike sector.
